    A grand deal involving Turkey, Syria, and the Kurds is in the works, and on Thursday a historic announcement was made by the leader of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).

    Abdullah Ocalan, speaking from a Turkish prison, has called on the group that he founded to lay down its arms and disband. This is the result of years of running Turkish-PKK battles as well as fragile negotiations. The PKK has long been in an official state of war with the Turkish government, which considers it a terrorist organization.

    "Convene your congress and make a decision," Ocalan said in the statement, read aloud both in Kurdish and in Turkish. "All groups must lay down their arms and the P.K.K. must dissolve itself."

    Je me demande si ce jeu d'influence pourrait nuire aux chances de la Turquie de rejoindre les BRICS?

    Et il faut tenir compte des politiques des provinces, dont beaucoup sont vent debout contre Mileï.

    Il y en a même l'une ou l'autre qui ont créé leur propre monnaie pour tenter de prolonger la fête du slip.

    Ça pourrait inspirer certains indépendentistes québécois qui avaient par le passé étudié cette question mais que leur ardeurs avaient été refroidi quand ils ont conclu que la valeur de la monnaie québecoise vaudrait pas grande chose. 

     

    Et tant qu'a y être, regardons si ces provinces argentines vont aller même prendre le risque de se séparer de l'Argentine?

    The Chinese, Iranian, Pakistani, and Russian Foreign Ministers gathered for their third quadrilateral meeting on Afghanistan on the sidelines of the UNGA last week. The joint statement that they produced was sharply critical of the Taliban on very sensitive issues, thus showing that they’re becoming increasingly displeased with them. They confirmed that international terrorist groups are still active in Afghanistan despite the Taliban’s claims and called on them to fulfill their obligation to fight them.
