FX Player is an online game that simulates a real FX trading environment, where you are given £50million of trading exposure to buy and sell currency.

You can trade the eight major currency pairs with the rates being provided by a live feed from the FX markets. All of the onscreen information is updated in real time and shows your current trading positions, trades that you have made and your profit and loss. TIMES ONLINE, our media partner, provide a continuous flow of the big business and economic stories to help you keep your finger on the pulse.

There are weekly prizes such as a case of champagne, weekend trips for two and dinner at some of the UK leading restaurants for the player who makes the most profit for the each week.

The main game lasts twelve weeks, during which time you can trade as often or as little as you wish. The winner of the main Competition will receive a cheque for £5000, the top five Students will get job interviews in the City and the overall winner will be named ‘The Best FX Trader in the World’.
