Je parle de trucs qui ont une chance d’être industrialisé dans moins d'une dizaine d'années dans le marché actuel. Après quand on imagine ce qui serait possible dans une économie libérale, c'est encore mieux. C'est en grande partie pour ça que pour moi la dérégulation est la priorité, la prospérité nous attend

 

Après on peut toujours imaginer une évolution vers un cronyisme tel que toute commercialisation sera impossible, mais pas tout les pays non plus.

At least 20 civilians, including women and children, have been killed after Syrian government helicopters dropped explosive-packed barrel bombs on a district in Aleppo city, a monitoring group has said.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Thursday that the attack hit the Muwasalat district of Shaar neighbourhood in the rebel-held city.

The Britain-based group had initially put the toll at 12.

Barrel bombs are typically constructed from large oil drums, gas cylinders or water tanks filled with high explosives and scrap metal.

According to the Observatory and Syrian activists, the regime has stepped up its use of the crude weapons in recent weeks, as international attention focuses on the fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant group (ISIL).

This past March, Mark Jacobsen (pictured above holding an Ed Ansley Peace Drone prototype), a PhD candidate in Political Science at Stanford, spent a week in Turkey conducting field research among Syrian refugees and activists. At that time the sieges by the Syrian government were at their worst, and the refugees Mark spoke with told him tragic stories, venting their frustration with the U.S. for not airdropping food and other supplies to the besieged areas. Mark, an active-duty C-17 pilot in the U.S. Air Force, explained why the U.S. can’t do airdrops in Syria: Manned cargo planes are vulnerable to anti-aircraft fire, so you can’t conduct airdrops without also launching a major combat operation to take down those air defense systems.

Normally the discussion would end there. That night, though, moved and troubled by the stories he’d heard and the people he’d met, Mark couldn’t sleep. The more thought he gave the issue, the more absurd it seemed that in the 21st century we still don’t have a way to deliver critical humanitarian aid through contested airspace so it gets to those who need it most. Mark wouldn’t let the problem go, and a few months later he launched the Syria Airlift Project.
